Worms and parasites

Spaghetti-like worms, rice-like specks, white threads, maggots: most are easy to tell apart once you know what to look for, and most are a vet visit soon rather than an emergency. Many parasites never show by eye at all, which is what the fecal test is for.

Heads up

PoopScout is not a vet. If your pet seems unwell, is a puppy or kitten with vomiting and diarrhea, has pale gums, or may have eaten something poisonous, call your vet or the nearest emergency animal hospital now.
